We are only one week into this challenge
and already I'm poring over my Poet's Companion
looking for inspiration.
I'm more comfortable sitting with the poems inside
than sitting with the poetic voice I've developed--
I don't hate it so much as it annoys me.
Each exercise entices me,
makes me think
Yeah. Yeah, I could do that.
Then I try and realize
it's not as easy as I think and
is this really all it takes?
"It" being poetry
writing, crafting, composing
entertaining.
